Abstract

Improving employee performance is a matter that has been unusual in the corporate world. The Company requires each employee to have a good performance for the company's progress. Factors of motivation and discipline is a part that can affect the performance of the employees themselves. The aim of this study is not to determine the effect of motivation and discipline for employee performance improvement Mandala Transport Malang. The population in this study were all employees (driver) Mandala Transport Malang a total of 50 driver. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression, F test and t test. From the results of multiple regression analysis can be concluded that the motivation and discipline of variables affect the performance of employees is 65.8%. Which means that companies need to increase factor of motivation and discipline employees. From the test results simultaneously, it can be concluded that that the motivation and discipline of variables simultaneously have significant influence on employee performance variable with a value of F count 45.209. From the results of the partial test concluded that the variable of motivation and discipline individually can improve the performance of employees with motivation variable t value of 4.524, while the t variable of 3.826 discipline. That is, the influence of motivation and discipline when applied to the maximum will significantly influence employee performance variables.
