Abstract

Research conducted at PT. Sumber Terang, by distributing questionnaires to the production employees as many as 50 sheets of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study using path analysis (Path Analysis) with the aim of analyzing the relationship between variables in order to know the presence or absence of direct and indirect Influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. Hypothesis on research compiled based on the formulation of the problem, among others: the first hypothesis, hypothesized that organizational commitment (X1) have an influence on labor discipline (X3). Hypothesis II, alleged that organizational commitment (X1) have an influence on employee performance (Y). Hypothesis III, alleged that the motivation (X2) have an influence on labor discipline. Hypothesis IV, suspected that the motivation (X2) have an influence on employee performance (Y). Hypothesis V, allegedly working discipline (X3) have an influence on employee performance (Y). Hypothesis VI, allegedly working discipline (X3) can improve the relationship between the variables of organizational commitment (X1) and the motivation variable (X2) on employee performance (Y). The research proves that there is a direct effect of organizational commitment to employee performance. There is a direct effect between motivation and performance of employees. There is a direct effect on the performance of employees work discipline. The test results showed no direct effect between organizational commitment to employee performance through the discipline of work. The results showed no significant Effects of organizational commitment to employee performance through the discipline of work. The results showed motivation and employee performance greater direct influence and work discipline is not intervening variables because fewer research results.
