Abstract

This research was conducted at Fajar Indah Knalpot Malang is a company that produces exhaust that aim to supply exhaust to all the people who has the best quality.To achieve that, we need a leader who can direct the exhaust employees to produce quality and good management of the entire community in need exhaust that has the best quality. The aim of research to determine the effect of situational leadership style on employee performance Fajar Indah Knalpot Malang, simultaneously and to determine variables, situational leadership style that has dominant influence on employee performance exhaust Fajar Indah Malang. The study population was the employees Fajar Indah Knalpot Malang both production employees and the head of the field. Production employees chosen for reasons of production employees go round employees who directly receive the impact of leadership style leader. Of the 40 employees researched, it is known that the majority aged <45 years of age (married) are relatively old and unproductive, so it can work optimally because many have considerable experience in the field. Most of the employees were male with the assumption that men are more DAPT work hard. Concluded that simultaneous situational leadership style that consists of instruction leadership style, leadership style consultation, participatory leadership style and leadership style of the delegation had a significant influence on employee performance amounted to 81.4%, while 18.6% is influenced by other variables. Besides leadership style works penagaruh dominant Instructions on the performance of employees in Fajar Indah Knalpot Malang than other leadership styles .
