Abstract

This study was conducted to test whether there is a direct effect between satisfaction, turnover, and employee’s productivity for competitive advantage or the indirect effect between satisfaction, turnover, and employee’s productivity for competitive advantage through the company's performance in UD. Angger Malang by using path analysis. Variables used are employee satisfaction, turnover, and productivity of employees as independent variables, whereas a competitive advantage as the dependent variable, and the performance of the companyas an intervening variable. The number of respondents in this study as many as 85 people. The results showed that the turnover has a direct impact on the least competitive advantage with path coefficient of -0.342. Employee’s productivity has a direct influence on the greatest competitive advantage with path coefficient of 0.267. Turnover has the most direct influence on the performance of small company with a path coefficient of -0.624. Productivity of employees have the greatest direct influence on corporate performance with the path coefficient of 0.711. Turnover has the most small indirect effect on competitive advantage through the performance of the company with the path coefficient of -0.305. Productivity indirect employees have the greatest influence on competitive advantage with path coefficients as many as 0,348. These results may indicate that the variable performance of the company is able to mediate the relationship between job satisfaction, turnover, and employee’s productivity to the company's competitive advantage.
