Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the influence of motivation and work environment on the performance of employees of Maxone Hotel Malang, is there any influence of motivation and work environment on the performance of employees of Maxone Hotel Malang partially or simultaneously. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method by using questionnaires (questionnaire) at Maxone Hotel Malang, the results of the research can show that motivation is in good category, the work environment is in good category, and the performance of Malang Maxone Hotel employees is in the category good. Motivation has an influence on employee performance with a contribution of 14.49%. The work environment has an influence on employee performance with a contribution of 0.86%. Motivation and work environment together have an influence on employee performance with a contribution of 55.2%. There is a weakness in the work motivation variable on the indicator of security needs, namely the absence of a guarantee of a better future than the company and the work environment variable on the lighting indicator, namely lighting in less and inadequate lights.
