Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capital adequacy ratio (CAR), non-performing loans (NPL), and loan to deposit ratio (LDR), simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on bank lending. This study uses a quantitative causal research design. Research subjects This is a 20 commercial bank listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and its objects are CAR, NPL, LDR, and lending in 2014-2018. The results of the tests show that together the CAR, NPL and LDR variables have a significant influence on lending to banks. Partially, the CAR (X1) variable has a significant effect on banking credit (Y). The NPL variable (X2) has a significant effect on banking credit (Y). The LDR (X3) variable has a significant effect on banking credit (Y). multiple adjusted (R square) = 0.256, meaning that the capital adequacy ratio (CAR), a non-performing loan (NPL) and the Loan to deposit ratio (LDR) can influence lending by 25,6%, while the remaining 74,4% lending is still influenced by other variables outside the observed variables.
